Ackerman
A revolutionary cinelifter frame Coming Soon.
THE Ackerman.
Designed in collaboration with Lincoln Siebelink and Ashton Gamble—former world champion drone racing pilot—this frame wasn’t created to follow the market. It was built to redefine it.
We set out with a simple but ambitious goal:
create a cinelifter capable of carrying a RED Komodo, while flying with the responsiveness of a 5” freestyle quad.
The result is a frame that delivers unmatched performance in its class.
Uncompromising Performance
This is not just another lifter with added features. Every design decision was made with performance in mind:
Ultra-lightweight construction — the lightest 9” lifter on the market
Exceptional stiffness — eliminates unwanted flex for precise, locked-in flight
High durability — built to handle real-world production demands
Freestyle-like responsiveness — power-to-weight that changes how cinelifters feel in the air
You don’t just carry cinema cameras—you fly them.
Feature-Complete, Production Ready
We took everything pilots love from existing lifters and refined it:
Sliding battery plate for hot-swap changes and rapid flights
Hot-swappable camera plate for fast rig changes
Fang mount
Clean, efficient layout for electronics and wiring + tpu housing
x2 BECs to power both Camera + Accessory
No compromises. No workarounds. Just a system that works.
Built for the RED Komodo — And Beyond
This frame was engineered specifically to lift high-end cinema payloads like the RED Komodo while maintaining agility and control. It utilizes the “fang mount” inspired by Sam Sanford to reduce a significant amount of weight.
Not using a RED? No problem, the Ackerman features a modular top plate that can hold a variety of mounts such as the DAK.
Why We Built It
Most cinelifters feel heavy, sluggish, and overbuilt.
We wanted something different.
Something that felt alive in the air.
Something that didn’t just lift—but performed like nothing else.
So we built it.
